A new season of cherry grading is startedToday our first 2008 season machine for cherry grading was installed by the company Zuber ErnstAG Switserland, the machine 2 lines runningat 30 cherries / sec / line, has a capacity from 1200kg/hour,the grading is done on size and coloraccuray 0.5mm You can find out some information on their websitehttp://www.zuber-ag.ch/The next machine will be installed in Norway by the companyHardanger Fjordfrukt, A 4 line machine with the same specifications,this one is also grading plums on the same graderour standard machine can calibrate starting from a 12mmwidth till 50mm, this makes it unique http://www.fjordfrukt.no/2 other machine will also be installed in the next 2 weeks,1- in Berlin and the second one in Hamburg (Jork)

Die neue STAS Kirschensortiermaschine
Bis vor einigen Jahren waren die Anforderungen hinsichtlich Kirschensortierung relativ gering. Nur zu kleine, schlecht ausgefärbte und beschädigte Früchte wurden aussortiert und fanden keine Verwendung. Neue, dickere Kirschensorten kamen in den Anbau und wurden zu weit höheren Preisen als bisher verkauft.
STAS NV Is specialized in developing and manufacturing grading, packing and fast transportation systems for vegetables, and fruit.
There is a continually growing demand for better and faster grading in the market. Consequently the trend to automation is increasing.
STAS NV has a development and building on demand policy. Our Research and Development Team is specialized in Mechanics, Hydraulics and Water systems. We design and produce our own mechanics and water systems.
